What happens if we just listen?

Organizers and researchers are experimenting with new ways to bring people together across divides. From those in our base who may have voted in unexpected ways to those we often see as too far to reach, we must find ways to recognize each other's humanity.

What happens if we shift organizing targets? How do we really build bridges across differences? What can long conversations and deep listening do for our long term strategies?

We believe now is the time to listen across political, racial, geographic and ideological differences as we imagine our shared future and bridge toward a stronger democracy.
